Elements and Performance Criteria
- Plan instrument survey
- Identify and follow WHS, environmental, legal and organisational requirements relevant to conducting an instrument survey.
- Adhere to site environmental protection measures in line with relevant requirements.
- Check work order, identify survey purpose and check specifications with appropriate personnel.
- Relevant information is obtained, interpreted and analysed for impact on current survey.
- Coordinate and schedule survey tools, equipment and personnel requirements.
- Identify and organise permit or licence requirements.
- Select survey method/s and instruments and communicate survey schedule to appropriate personnel.
- Implement and monitor instrument survey
- Establish and maintain regular communication with others in line with WHS requirements and to ensure continuous workflow and progress.
- Carry out instrument survey in line with work order and specifications in survey plan, consulting individuals and groups as required.
- Monitor and modify survey plan as required in response to equipment, personnel, site condition changes and environmental requirements.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure survey documentation and data are accurately and continuously recorded and completed.
- Routinely review survey progress to maintain efficient options, and hazards or impediments to the survey are promptly rectified.
- Review instrument survey
- Compile and organise survey documentation and data for review.
- Prepare map or plan in line with survey requirements.
- Prepare survey report in appropriate format in line with organisational guidelines.
- Undertake evaluation of survey plan and processes and documented for use in reviewing and revising future instrument surveys.
- Record and report instrument survey outcomes in line with site procedures and organisational requirements.
